I finally have some free time to blog!!!
This gorgeous 2017 Senior could not have been a better sport, shooting all day in the blistering cold wind. Seriously the locations we found while shooting were beyond amazing and I am so excited to be able to offer these spots for my seniors next year. We did a little traveling for this one but it was well worth it. If you are in the Cypress TX and surrounding areas contact me for your session and if you like these locations be sure to mention them when booking.
Ever since I first met Ashlyn I knew that I wanted to photograph her. She is stunning but that isn't the reason. You see she is kind and funny and I knew those things would come through in her images. As I moved from photographing children into seniors and tweens she was also beginning her journey as a senior so it was perfect!!! Because she is my senior Rep (they get perks) this is the first of the sessions she and I will be doing together. I wanted to do something dramatic for her so we chose the skirt from my Couture closet and she and her Mom found this top for 5$ can you believe it!
We set off for the city very early. Luckily Ashlyn is amazing at doing make up so she was able to have her hair and make up done without having to first visit the make up artist home. Love when that happens! Anyway we set out from Cypress Tx to Houston downtown at 6 in the morning. made a stop at Buckees for coffee first LOL then we were on our way!!
We arrived first at the over look cityscape scene. after getting some images on the top of a building we went down to the street and looked for an alley that wasn't too gross and scary. We didn't find one but we opted for these walk across the street shots which I think came out even better than some stinky alley.
This skirt is one of mine that I really like using for a more dramatic and artistic touch. its about 8 feet long and so fun working with it.
After we left the city and headed back to Cypress Tx I saw these flowers hanging over a fence on the side of the road and asked Ashlyn if she had cooled off enough to get out of the ac and shoot again. She was a truely a joy to work with, she said of course!! We ran up the side of the road and grab a couple of shots before we caused too much of a distraction to the neighborhood drivers.
Gorgeous girl, gorgeous images, Happy Photographer and Happy Senior! Nothing better than a wonderful session.
I have decided to take my business more in the direction of photographing Seniors and Tweens. This is going to come as a shock because you all know how much I love all the little fashion and kiddos that I have Captured these past years but as My children have gotten older and changed so has my art. I feel like I can better serve an older group of kiddos. I will still be styling them but now I will be adding Make Up and Hair to my services.
Thank you all for believing in me and for choosing me as your photographer for these past years and when you have a graduating 8th grader at Salyards or a Senior in High-school at Cy-Ranch or any other schools I will be more than excited to give you wonderful images that you have come to love from me.
